Dan has spent most of his life at Camp Spofford. He was a camper, worked summer staff, was a counselor and then served as Program Director for eight years until 2011, when he and Kellie relocated to Illinois. During their time in Chicago, Dan earned his Masters in Counseling Ministries from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Prior to returning to Camp, Dan was serving as a pastor for Christ Church in Illinois. He and his wife Kellie have two young children.
Dan is skilled at casting a vision and mobilizing a team to pursue God’s call. His commitment to bring more children, youth, and adults to Christ aligns with Camp Spofford’s mission. His years of experience at Camp, his solid leadership focus, and deep faith well-equip him to be Executive Director of Camp Spofford.
Director of Family Camp
Dave began serving here in 1991 and has spent all but two of those years working to improve and maintain the buildings and grounds around Camp. He and his wife Liz have 6 children, the oldest of whom is married, and most of his kids are working or have worked at camp during the summer. His favorite spot to hang out is on the chapel porch, especially when there is a good sunset.
Doug has served in Christian camping for 35 years and has made Camp Spofford the focal point of his ministry since 1995. His excitement for his job is evident as he constantly develops new award winning dishes and themes to enhance the quality of your experience. Doug and his wife Kathi have two married children who have both served on staff and 5 grandchildren. One will often see Doug cruising all over Keene in the late summer afternoons when he is not at camp. To contact Doug email him at email@example.com
Director of Maintenance
Bob began serving in the winter of 2008 after working several years in the construction business. He has been instrumental in renovating several buildings while also conducting much-needed repairs on everything from public walkways and kitchen floors to porches, plumbing, and roofs. He and his wife Karen, who up until recently worked in the office, have 2 boys. Bob’s favorite spot at camp would be near a coffeepot, particularly one that brews hazelnut coffee.
Bob is typically busy on camp grounds. To contact him, please start with emailing him and scheduling a call or meeting. Email him firstname.lastname@example.org
While often hidden away in the back corner of the office, Mary has the essential job of keeping the lights on and our staff paid. She moved to the area over 20 years ago with her husband Craig and began working at camp several years ago. Mary and her husband have 4 kids, most of whom have worked at camp in some capacity. When not in the office, she’s bound to be either gardening, working in the woods, cooking, or sewing. To contact Mary, you can call her at 603-363-4788 or email her at email@example.com
Retreat and Staff Coordinator
Jon joined the year-round team at Camp Spofford in September 2017 after getting his Master of Divinity at Cairn University. He has been attending Camp his whole life and is full of anticipation for the ways God continues to move within and through him here. He loves pouring into our staff each summer and taking the time to disciple others, and he does a fabulous job connecting with our retreat groups in the fall, winter, and spring. Jon doesn’t drink coffee, but proudly drinks Joe Tea from his home state of New Jersey. In his free time, you’ll find him on the beach playing volleyball or reading a book. Contact him through email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Liz joined the year-round staff in September of 2018, she has been a regular at camp her whole life and worked for 7 summers between 2006-2012 as the baker for 4 years and head of girls for 2. She is super excited to see all the wonderful things God has planned for camp and the people that stay here. If you ever see her around camp, don’t hesitate to say “Hi”, she loves meeting new people and catching up with old friends. Liz loves the snow and being outside in the winter months snowboarding and skiing. You can also find her taking photos, drinking tea, or just plain old having a good time with friends.

Natalie and her family moved from their home in Florida to Rhode Island in 2016 and then to Spofford in July 2018. They feel that they have been planted in the most beautiful and robust community and inherited the most precious people that they get to call friends and neighbors! Natalie loves exploring trails and is always up for a hike! She loves fellowshipping in any form, playing games, and laughing (which you can hear from a mile away!) She is looking forward to meeting everyone who attends camp this summer!
