: occurs in succession, like from childhood to adulthood

: change, transformation

: a new discipline designed to deal critically with the original

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
— Romans 12:2

Overview:

Meta- is a discipleship program designed for 18-20 year olds who are seeking to know Jesus and know themselves more than they have before. It is an environment that is safe yet challenging and encourages emerging adults to grow emotionally, practically, and spiritually through classes, work and relationships.

In American culture it can be difficult to transition into independence when there is so much uncertainty. Participants will explore who they are in Christ and who they are individually and how they can emerge into becoming adults with more understanding and life skills.
