Family Camp

Taking a break from your regular routine and escaping to the beautiful and relaxing atmosphere of Camp Spofford gives you and your loved ones a variety of great opportunities to experience God and enjoy each other. Packed with exciting programs for all ages, a week at Camp Spofford is certain to be a time that the whole family will cherish. What better place to make memories together than at Camp Spofford!

Program Information

Family week begins with check-in time between 2:00-5:00 p.m. on Saturday and ends the following Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Be sure not to miss the Saturday night banquet, served at 5:30 p.m. sharp. Saturday evenings also include a concert by Camp Spofford's very own music staff.

No one under 18 may stay in family camp facilities without parents.

Camp Spofford is known for its great food. If you have special needs, contact our food service director in advance.

Family Camp registration begins in the first business day in November via phone only at 603-363-4788 ext. 21. Any time thereafter, you can also email the camp office regarding any reservation inquiries. Returning camp guests have an opportunity to put down a deposit on the same accommodation for the same week for the summer following their visit. This offer persists until the last business day in October. New reservations will NOT be taken prior to the first business day in November.

Enjoying the beachNursery (Ages 0-3) - Provided during all services

PreCampers (Ages 4-7) - Age-appropriate activities provided every morning and several evenings throughout the week

Explorers (Family Campers Ages 8-12) - Provides over five hours of family-centered activities each day; Morning highlights include youth chapel, sports and games. Afternoon and evening activities may include exciting trips to Mt. Monadnock, boating, tubing, a bonfire, a family movie and more. Parents are encouraged to attend the afternoon and evening activities as a family. Physical not required.

Adventurers (Family Campers Ages 13-17) - Includes one or two activities each day for teens to meet and hang out, such as water sports and games, competitions, chapel times, and more. One full-day, off-camp excursion will be planned (extra fee). Physical not required.

Youth Camp - Children in the age group that runs concurrent with your Family Camp Week may opt to join the Youth Camp Program as either overnight campers or Family Day Campers. For more details, see the Youth Program portion of our site.

Adult Activities - The opening Saturday night dinner theme in 2008 will be African, followed by a concert of worship and praise. Throughout the week, adult tournaments for ages 15 and up include: bocce, croquet, shuffleboard, tennis, horseshoes, and more. Be prepared for adult Staff vs. Guests team game competitions in softball, basketball and volleyball. and perhaps compete in our Tin-Man Triathalon, consisting of swimming, running and biking. You can also try waterskiing, tubing, sailing, canoeing or a pontoon boat ride. Other area attractions include golf, hiking, mountain climbing and various other tourist attractions. And don't forget to bring your fishing pole!

How to Register

To register for camp, call us at (603) 363-4788 on or after the first business day in November or complete our on-line reservation inquiry form to verify that we have openings for your desired camp week. Once you have a confirmed registration, you will simply need to send your $200 ($50 for camp sites) deposit by check or credit card to the camp office within five (5) business days. Half of the deposit is refundable before May 1. Advanced payment in full will expedite the registration process when you arrive. Please Note: Reservations will NOT be taken prior to the first business day in November
