Work weekends are a great oppurtunity for you to get involved at Spofford! We would love to give you great food to eat and a palce to stay for a weekend, while you lend us your talents by working on desiganted projects. Come join us for one of our work weekend and play an important role in the work that gets done around Spofford!

Latest Projects:

Girls Cabins - this is by far our biggest project for the 2008 spring and is also our #1 priority. Thanks to the Sr. High from Black Rock Congregational, the "L" Cabin, which held two of our girls camper cabins, has been demolished. Next up we must begin work on rebuilding a brand new building to house the two cabins. We also have work planned on the other two girls cabins and need to have it ready for campers this summer!

Summer Preparation - Each year May brings a variety of challenges in preparing for the summer. Jobs include cleaning the dining hall, planting flowers, moving boats, putting in the dock, resetting the beach, and plenty of raking, Memorial Day Weekend is one of the weekends where lots of people come together to get Camp ready for the summer season!
