Driving Directions
From Connecticut and points South Interstate 91 North to exit 3 in Vermont. Go half way around the traffic circle and take Rte. 9 East across bridge and into New Hampshire for approx. 7 miles. Camp Spofford will be on your left just past the intersection with Rte. 9A. (1/2 mile after you pass Rte. 63.
From Danbury/Waterbury CT Area Take Interstate 84 East through Waterbury to Hartford, CT. Pick up Interstate 91 North at Hartford and follow through Massachusetts and into Vermont. Take exit 3 in Vermont. Go half way around the traffic circle and follow Rte. 9 East across bridge and into New Hampshire for approx. 7 miles. Camp Spofford will be on your left just past the intersection with Rte. 9A. (1/2 mile after you pass Rte. 63.
From New York City- (George Washington Bridge) Take Interstate 95 North to New Haven, CT. Pick up Interstate 91 North in New Haven. Follow I-91 North through Connecticut and Massachusetts and into Vermont. Take exit 3 in Vermont. Go half way around the traffic circle and follow Rte. 9 East across bridge and into New Hampshire for approx. 7 miles. Camp Spofford will be on your left just past the intersection with Rte. 9A. (1/2 mile after you pass Rte. 63.
From New York City- (Tappan Zee Bridge) Take Interstate 287 North to I-684 North. Follow I-684 N. to I-84 East. Take I-84 E. to Hartford, CT, where you will pick up I-91 N. Follow I-91 North through Connecticut and Massachusetts and into Vermont. Take exit 3 in Vermont. Go half way around the traffic circle and follow Rte. 9 East across bridge and into New Hampshire for approx. 7 miles. Camp Spofford will be on your left just past the intersection with Rte. 9A. (1/2 mile after you pass Rte. 63.
From Albany, NY area Take New York Rte. 7 East to NY/VT state line where it becomes Rte. 9. Follow Rte. 9 through Bennington, VT, and continue through VT to Brattleboro. Take I-91 North for approx. 3 miles. Take exit 3 in Vermont. Go half way around the traffic circle and follow Rte. 9 East across bridge and into New Hampshire for approx. 7 miles. Camp Spofford will be on your left just past the intersection with Rte. 9A. (1/2 mile after you pass Rte. 63.
From Boston, MA area Take Interstate 495 to Rte. 2 West. Follow Rte. 2 and then take the exit for 140 North (Gardiner). Take 140 to Rte. 12. Follow Rte. 12 to Keene, NH. Go straight through lights and you will end up on Route 9. Follow Route 9 approx. 7 miles and camp will be on the right just after you pass Maple Road.
From Concord, NH area Take Rte. 202 to Rte. 9 and follow to Keene, NH. Follow Rte. 9 in Keene (you will need to turn right at traffic light). Follow Route 9 approx. 7 miles and camp will be on the right just after you pass Maple Road.
